Guyana: restrictions and entry requirements 2022

Borders are open with restrictions.

Passengers older than 12 years must have a vaccine certificate stating that they received at least one dose of the vaccine. Accepted ones are: Abdala, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Convidecia (CanSinoBio), Covaxin, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), Sinovac, Soberana 01, Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Sputnik V. A combination of vaccines is accepted if it has been at least 17 days between the shots.

This rule does not apply to:

  • passengers with a recovery certificate issued at least 14 days and at most 90 days before departure. They must also have a ‘Certificate of Clearance’ issued by a certified medical practitioner.
