In Pakistan, the Mohenjo-Daro city, a testament to the Indus civilisation, was severely affected by flooding.

It much, including the Dead Mound (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), has been destroyed by floodwaters. Sindh Heritage Foundation secretary Hamid Akhund described the destruction amount as “massive”, with the country battling its biggest floods since 2010 and many people losing their homes.
