Tunisia: restrictions and entry requirements 2022

Borders are open with restrictions.

Every passenger except for citizens and residents of Tunisia must have a valid vaccination certificate.

Arriving passengers older than 18 years (including those who transiting via Tunisia) must have a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR or antigen). The result must be taken no more than 48 hours (24 hours for antigen) before departure from the first embarkation point and must be in Arabic, English or French. As an alternative for testing passengers may provide a valid vaccination certificate.

Every passenger older than 18 years could be subject to quarantine for 5 days upon arrival. This rule doesn’t apply to passengers with a valid COVID-19 certificate.

The vaccination certificate considered valid if:

  • passenger was fully vaccinated at least 17 days (28 days for one-shot vaccines) before arrival with an approved vaccine;
  • it is in Arabic, English or French.

Approved vaccines are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), Covaxin, Covishield, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik V and Sputnik Light. A combination of vaccines is accepted
