Borders are open with restrictions.

Arriving people must register here before departure. This doesn’t apply to holders of a diplomatic passport traveling on duty.

Arriving people must have health insurance to cover COVID-19 expenses for at least 1 month. This doesn’t apply to citizens of Oman.

Arriving people must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days before arrival.

The certificate must have a QR code or be approved by the authorities in the country of departure and be uploaded here.

This rule does not apply to:

  • citizens  of Oman;
  • passengers younger than 18 years.

Arriving people must have:

  • a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken not more than 96 hours before arrival if arriving on a flight that takes 8 hours or more (including transit); or
  • a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken not more than 72 hours before arrival if arriving on a flight that takes less than 8 hours.

This doesn’t apply to:

  • people under 18;
  • citizens of Oman and United Arab Emirates arriving from United Arab Emirates.

Citizens of Oman and United Arab Emirates older than 18 arriving from United Arab Emirates must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 14 days before arrival. The test must have a QR code or be approved by the authorities in the country of departure and be uploaded here.

 

Arriving people could be subject to quarantine. This doesn’t apply to holders of a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days before arrival and a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 96 hours before arrival if arriving on a flight that takes 8 hours or more (including transit), or a negative PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival if arriving on a flight that takes less than 8 hours.

They must not be arriving from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe.

All documents (certificates and tests) must have a QR code or be approved by the authorities in the country of departure AND must be uploaded on the website

All visa on arrival facilities have been reinstated.
