Uzbekistan Airways has temporarily cancelled all flights to Samarkand

The restriction will last from September 12 to 20. The carrier claims that the decision was taken due to “technical reasons”, which are most likely related to security during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation heads-of-state summit in the city.
