Thailand is introducing a “Long-Term Resident Visa” for 10 years from 1 September.

It will be issued for living and study purposes and offers tax and other benefits. Those who work remotely for international companies, assets over $1 million owners and pensioners with an income of at least $80,000 a year can obtain it.
