On December 8, the Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg) will open the exhibition “The Art of Portraiture. Personality and epoch”.

The aim of the authors is to demonstrate the development of the portrait genre over the centuries. Among the exhibits are ancient Egyptian statues, Altai masks, photographs, coins, and works by contemporary artists. The exhibition is open in the Nikolaevsky Hall until March 29, 2026. The ticket price starts from 500 rubles.
