Country`s borders status
Borders of Mongolia are temporarily closed.
These passengers are allowed to enter:
- Citizens of Mongolia;
- Residents who have close relatives with citizenship of Mongolia;
- citizens of Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Germany, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and USA;
- holders of Mongolian visa;
Arriving passengers must present negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure of the first direct flight to Mongolia. This doesn’t apply to children younger than legal age allowing to have a COVID-19 test in country of departure and those who have a positive test result and a recovery certificate issued no more than 4 months before arrival.
They will be quarantined for 7 days in the dedicated facility and must stay self-isolated for 7 days after that. Those who have a vaccine certificate stating that the last dose of vaccine was received no less than 14 days before arrival are exempt from quarantine.
