Borders are closed. There are few exceptions however.

These passengers are allowed to enter:

  • Citizens of Mongolia;
  • Residents who have close relatives with citizenship of Mongolia;
  • citizens of Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Germany, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and USA;
  • holders of Mongolian visa;

All passengers must arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport (ULN).

Arriving passengers must present negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure of the first direct flight to Mongolia. This doesn’t apply to children younger than legal age allowing to have a COVID-19 test in country of departure and those who have a positive test result and a recovery certificate issued no more than 3 months before arrival.

Passengers shall stay self-isolated for 10 days after arrival.
