Ghana: restrictions and entry requirements 2022

Borders are open with restrictions.

Passengers before departure must complete a “Port Health Declaration Form“.

Every passenger older than 18 years (including those in transit) must have either a valid vaccination certificate or a negative test result.
The certificate considered valid if:

  • the final dose of vaccine was received no less than 14 days before departure;
  • shot was made with one of the approved vaccines: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), Sinovac, Sputnik V, Covovax, Nuvaxoid.

The test result must be negative PCR taken at most 48 hours before departure from the 1st embarkation point.

Passengers shall be tested upon arrival in case they doesn’t have a valid vaccination certificate.
