Borders are open with restrictions.

Passengers who in the past 14 days have been in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe are not allowed to enter.

This rule does not apply to nationals of Georgia.

These passengers are allowed to enter:

  • citizens of Georgia and their spouses and children under 18 years;
  • citizens and residents of Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq, Ireland (Rep.), Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (Rep.), Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova (Rep.), Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia (Rep.), Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russian Fed., San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the USA, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom or Uzbekistan if arriving from one of these countries;
  • holders of a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English showing that they were fully vaccinated;
  • holders of a positive COVID-19 test issued at most 100 days before arrival and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English showing that they received one dose at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AZD1222 (SK Bioscience Co Ltd.), Covieshield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm and Sinovac. 

Arriving people must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result in English, Georgian or Russian of a test taken at most 72 hours before arrival.

This doesn’t apply to:

  • citizens of Georgia;
  • children under 10;
  • holders of a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English showing that they were fully vaccinated;
  • holders of a positive COVID-19 test issued at most 100 days before arrival and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English showing that they received one dose at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AZD1222 (SK Bioscience Co Ltd.), Covieshield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm and Sinovac.

Citizens of Georgia without a negative COVID-19 PCR test result of a test taken at most 72 hours before arrival are subject to self-isolation for 8 days.

Citizens of Georgia who in the past 14 days have been in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe are subject to self-isolation.

 
Arriving people must submit a pre-registration form
This doesn’t apply to:
  • citizens of Georgia residing in Georgia;
  • holders of a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English showing that they were fully vaccinated;
  • holders of a positive COVID-19 test issued at most 100 days before arrival and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English showing that they received one dose at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AZD1222 (SK Bioscience Co Ltd.), Covieshield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm and Sinovac.

Arriving people could be subject to quarantine for up to 14 days. More details can be found here
