Latest information on travel bans during COVID-19

Cayman Islands

Borders are temporarily closed until 15 July 2021.

These passengers are allowed to enter:

  • citizens and residents of Cayman Islands;
  • siblings, parents, grandparents or fiances of residents of Cayman Islands;
  • students.

Arriving people must obtain a “Travel to Cayman” approval and are subject to medical screening and quarantine for up to 14 days.


Arriving people are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival. 

This doesn’t apply to:

  • children under 10;
  • holders of a COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Cayman Islands HSA stating that they received the last dose of the vaccine at least 2 weeks before departure.
