Borders are open with restrictions.

Arriving people:

  • must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken not more than 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. This doesn’t apply to children of 5 or younger;
  • must present upon arrival a completed “Declaracion Jurada del viajero para el seguimiento COVID-19”;
  • must have insurance to cover COVID-19 expenses. This doesn’t apply to citizens and residents of Bolivia;
  • are subject to a COVID-19 RT-PCR test 72 hours after arrival at their own expense and self-isolation until test results are ready, if they have no a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. 
    This rule does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival.
